NFL execs: it’s going to take 3 first rounders at least for DeShaun Watson.

Both Miami and the Jets can outbid us.

The Jets will certainly try but Deshaun has a no trade clause and the Jets have become the worst franchise in the league, absolute dumpster fire.

Miami truly might be sold on Tua and really might not want to move on from their assets.

Deshaun almost certainly would ok a trade to Carolina...

Everyone's acting like we're inserting Watson in a KC roster like Mahomes . In reality were still rebuilding the Oline and the defense .

Both of which we have to rebuild anyway currently without a top three QB in the NFL.

Nope.  Not on board.  This is a knee jerk reaction from folks wanting to win now.  We are rebuilding. Yes watson is light years better than teddy.  If we had watson this year we would have won four more games maybe 5.  But seriously do ya think the team would be able to win many playoff games.  Give up three 1st round picks to be a early out in the playoffs.  We are not ready yet.  We are not one player away.  Trust the process give it three good drafts and offseasons and we will build a jugganaut.  Also I don't want that contract.   A rookie QB under a rookie contract gives the flexibility to add quality free agents and resign players we want to keep.  The watson trade is a shortsighted pipe dream.  Miami and NY have so much more ammo to bring him in.

    • According to ESPN stats, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 24th in the league in motion at the snap, only using it 14% of the time. The team does employ motion before the snap quite frequently, though, as it runs motion %43.7 of the time in general. When asked specifically about motion at the snap, Bucs offensive coordinator Dave Canales confirmed that it's in Tampa Bay's arsenal and that it can be a big help on offense. "It's a part of what we're doing," Canales said. "It allows us to stretch the defense horizontally. All you're trying to do is create a moment of indecision for the defense and then that helps the run game, helps the pass game. Switching the responsibilities to create free-access releases at the line, that's a big part of it." Tampa Bay's low percentage of using this type of play doesn't mean that it won't increase in the future, though. Canales said that while some teams are doing a great job at implementing it in their offense, others like the Bucs are catching up to speed. He mentioned that he first saw heavy usage of pre-snap motion when he was with the Seattle Seahawks and played the Los Angeles Rams twice a year. "[The Los Angeles Rams] really utilized that from the time Sean [McVay] had been there in LA. It's something that's been around for a while, and I think that the rest of us are learning how to utilize it."
    • Yea Falcons should (and hopefully will) get slammed hard for this tampering business. But even without that, Kirk Cousins is solid but the team still isn’t good. Their O is super overhyped based on college production. The RB they got last year looks good but he’s no Barkley or CMC. Their young WR and TE are dookie no matter how much people wanna hype them based on their college days. (And by dookie I mean compared to expectations. They’re mid, objectively).
