Panthers still looking for more positional flexibility

Recommended Posts

Shaun Wade could be one of these guys. His stock took a beating in the playoffs as he pretty much got exposed for not being an outside CB. But, he has played really well in the nickel before and a is a guy with good size and physicality to his game. I could see him being used as a big nickel in the NFL.

Hamsah Nasirildeen out of FSU is that Jeremy Chinn hybrid LB/SS type.  He is from Concord area.

Was just about to post this. He is very similar, just doesn't have the speed of Chinn.

Talanoa Hufanga from USC is the guy I hope we spot, but he isn't at the Senior Bowl

They have "positional flexibility" when they pan out. They're "tweeners" when they don't. One thing to keep in mind, there's a lot more of the latter than there are of the former.

This, Guys like Chinn and Davis are the exceptions not the rule, How many times did Hurney draft "postional versatility" over the years? (Many) Davis and Chinn were the only 99th percentile athletes however.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Is Jeremy Chinn. Same dude. Could be Shaq’s replacement maybe. Chinn at Safety and this guy at WLB could account for just about any formation.... if we have an actually MLB.

Love this. Don’t think we’ll be in a position to draft him though. Also love Shaun Wade as a NCB/FS especially if he keeps falling.
