I wish he could just be let go. What could he teach a rookie? I don't want his game rubbing off on someone- always playing safe and never taking chances. 

I'm not like some here who know exactly how all the contracts work, but if he can be let go without too much damage done to the cap then do it. It was just a mistake signing him to a rebuilding team. Teddys best role is a backup on a contender. I've wondered how they can really keep him around at this point. The public handling of the QB situation couldn't be more clear and the team doesn't seem to be hedging to retain any Teddy goodwill at all, so perhaps there is some frank understanding on both sides behind the scenes

What grates me the most about all of this is how the franchise trying desperately to trade for a QB goes directly against what they tried to sell us when they STUPIDLY signed Teddy this past offseason. 

You guys made the bed, lie in it and follow through with the plan. I’ll never forget all the absolutely absurd takes from our front office AND fans alike who said this wasn’t a dumb move. 

We lookin desperate right now when this could’ve all been avoided The Panthers don't have an abundance of picks to trade away, don't have a ton of cap room to sign big name free agents, and there aren't enough talented players on the roster to use any as a serious trade offer without leaving a gaping roster hole and no way to fill it. There are plenty of teams in need of quarterbacks who have much better negotiating positions in all those categories. It is highly unlikely that the Panthers will sign a big name free agent QB who will lead the team to a playoff run.

our fastest way to the playoffs will be draft a player that’s known to win like Mac jones , he played in big games , doesn’t get rattled like teddy and is a good pocket passer that can pass deep which will bring out the best in Robby Anderson and dj Moore  . I like tre lance as well but he’s too raw and rhule is going to want to push for a play off game this year atleast

Why because I’m not screaming for us to trade 10 first rounders for Deshaun Watson? And I watched film on Mac jones and think he’s the 2nd best behind Lawrence? Maybe you should watch film
