Draft Tufele or Jaylen Twyman.

Jaylen for sure. He is perfect replacement, great pass rusher, and beside brown, will be more than serviceable in the run game. His compa are literally KK and geno Atkins. Both get after the QB just like Jaylen. Shocked how many are sleeping on him this draft cycle

Since you seem to believe that you understand everything, why don't you put together the contract numbers together that would have worked? 🙂

Considering that you weren't aware that there was a minimum floor for the salary cap, I'm ready for a good laugh.

PROTIP: You'd have freed up just $80M over the 4yr period (3yrs is for 2021 - 2023 seasons) if spending the minimum... so... good luck on finding that other $20M

What 4 year period? WTF are you talking about? Why am I looking for 20M?

Remember when you said "Have an understanding of a rule?"

Seems like you didn't understand it as well as you thought that you did. 👀

What rule am I not understanding? The only 80M I mentioned was the ballpark of money the Panthers wasted last year. Now how about you say what you are talking about and we can see who knows what. Why am I looking for 20M in any scenario?

I think that restructure gave Marty the incentive to keep him in 2020 so he could try to keep his job. He failed miserably.

And if I remember it was to make a run in 2019 on the cheap to save both Ron and Marty...two failures in two years. Classic Hurney

What was the penalty for being under the 89% 4 year average? Wasn't it taking away future cap space?

    • Calling an offensive trip on the attacking down team in the playoffs seems like bad refereeing.
    • Try quoting me bud. “R.J. iSn’T oFfIciAllY BACk”… he’s back, no need to even argue this. Powell is a defensive specialist and that’s it right now, I’ve watched the majority of his HS games. Anyone thinking he’s going to come in and be a starter right away is out to lunch. He’ll eventually jump Withers but any true Carolina fan knows good and well that Hubert won’t start him right out of the gate. And the fact that we’re in on Thiero and were in on Aidoo is a obvious sign that Hubert is trying to upgrade that position. There was absolutely no reason to be a dick but yet you decided to have a breakdown. Editing to add Powell’s scouting report that literally lists his offensive game as being a work in progress (https://247sports.com/player/drake-powell-46116213/). And as for the transfers, UNC already has multiple CB’s for Tyson and are likely to land Omoruyi. Thiero and Brea are up in the air.
    • I’m honestly finding it tough as hell to project us. I have my favorites this year but they don’t really align with what I think we do.being predictive, I’m thinking about who we pick more than who I like and trying to reconcile that potential selection. I.E. - Big fan of Newton DT, Barton IOL, Frazier C, Sainistril CB, Polk WR, Kneeland ED/DE, Pearsall WR, Melton CB and a few others.. but it’s just kinda tough to figure out for this team. We’ve got a ways to go but I feel like they never lean towards the guys I like.
