All in for Dak

I am okay with pursuing Dak but it can't be at a Watson/Wilson price. I think he's a very good QB but I am not sure that he is an elite QB yet. 

Unquestionably a massive upgrade over what we have had.

Dak is coming off a bad injury, and throughout his career has thrown big interceptions at the most inopportune of times. And yet, he wants to get paid like Mahomes. 35 mil per sounds about right.

I like Dak but I think I would rather go after Lance. I think he will be as good if not better.

They would’ve sucked with him too. Hard pass on Dak unless he’s an absolute bargain, which he won’t be.

Cowboys are going to tag him. I like Dak, but no way I am paying $40 million per year for him and definitely not trading 2 first round picks for the right to pay that contract.

The Texans sucked with Watson. We had some sucky years with Cam. An elite QB makes up for a lot, but it can't make up for everything.

We should aim higher than Dak. Hes a good player and deserves to get his bag but he's also one the BEST possible outcome of a 4th round qb who who had middling to low expectations for and who grew in your system and always had great skill talent and protection. He goes to a team where conditions aren't perfect like in Dallas and he'll look worse. He's still capable of leading the league in passing there bc he's in a blessed situation but he's not elite. 

If we're gonna trade for someone it should be Watson. If not him, draft a guy.

Perfect situation? Dallas was awful without him last year

Draft position is no longer relevant once a guy has shown what he can do in the NFL. Conditions are far from perfect in Dallas. Don't let the media hype every preseason fool you, that team sucks.

If it was his own team would have signed him already. Guys like Mahomes and Watson got locked into deals early. Dallas is in the same situation the WFT was in with Kirk Cousins. He is good enough to win some games, but he is not going to take you all the way.

Prior to that Dallas was known for top OLineman and big time RB and good skill guys

Take Dak out of that equation he might suffer. Best place for him is Dallas

Deshaun Watson coming to Carolina is Simba from the Lion King coming to reclaim his throne as King of Clemson, Earl of the Upstate . He's the only QB we should he trading for. If we can't get him, draft you own guy.

Yall are being pedantic with me saying it was perfect which us reasonable. He's historically had a great offensive line and running game and when they gave him elite skill guys he lit up the league. But he's also not as good as the top guys in the league and yall know it, which i understand bc you're starving for a QB. Hea had the benefit  of playing there with that stability his entire career and yes he's been good but c'mon now. Don't oversell his abilities bc we in bad shape.
