Jamie Newman not taking part in Georgia's Pro Day

He really should have stayed at Wake and gotten more experience/tape. Then, to opt out when he thought he wouldn't be the starter at UGA? Then, agree to the senior bowl only to stink up the place, and now no pro day, leaving the lingering stench of his senior bowl performance as the last thing teams remember about him.

    • Used to. And this proves my point. The best drafts theyve had still couldn't produce a championship level team. And all those guys produced how many back to back winning seasons? How many times did they help win the nfcs? That's right, it doesn't matter until they figure out how to add more than 2 or 3 good players every half decade or so. It takes a complete team built over the long haul to compete every season, not just compete every decade or so.  They have to do that EVERY draft.
    • My bad.  No wonder I missed 8 of 13 questions. 😃 I was rushing a bit--but no excuse.  I should have checked the date.  I did not take it myself until late last night.  We had a family crisis and I was rushing to get this out before leaving.  Abort Quiz. Happy Draft Day, regardless.  I am seeing a lot of last second mocks showing Legette to Pats at 32.
    • Peter Schrager’s mock now has Worthy going 17 overall, ahead of Brian Thomas. I can see it.
