Panthers prospect pro day workouts/meetings thread

Lots of Pro Days today and yesterday.  Not sure where to look to see who was in attendance ( team's staff).  Some corners had very good showings.  A couple of guys I've been mocking in the 4th/5th rounds had exceptional performances.  I suspect each of them will go a round higher now.  More to come as Pro Days start to hit high gear to round out March.

Not worth #8; bigger needs in the second than safety and will be LONG gone by the 3rd round.

I read his pro day was rather bad/ok, and he blamed a back injury weeks before. Before he was rated as the clear #1 safety, now its a ????. Pro days do move the needle when a you think a guy is going to have _______, but has _______ . Before I thought there was a chance hed be their for panthers 2nd, now its much higher and I still dont want a safety. DE seems to be loaded for the 2nd.

I'm still looking for an OT in the 2nd.  We just signed Fox and still have Larkin.  There's some depth at DE.  OT?  We have Scott and Little.  No thanks!  I'm hoping that either Cosmi or Randunz will be there at #39.

In my mocks, it is hard to get a T after the second round.  I can see the S in this defense, however.  We have little back there if we play Chinn at LB.  I think they probably feel that we at least have some bodies a LT this year.

I got 5 LT(one is leatherwood hes 50/50) going in the 1st, the only one left for 40th pick is Dillon Radunz. Hes in that area just too soon for my tastes. I think the best value will be DE/OLBs, bunch of them too. WR should have real high value too, just either spot is high on panthers needs. But If  Jenkins, Mayfield, or Leatherwood is there at 40, DRAFT THEM! I do not care if they also got super lucky and Sewell was drafted 8th, take another one form the group I listed. I believe teams will over draft OT this year, much like CB was drafted last year.

Yep, most tackles will be gone in rounds 1 and 2. The only 2 possibilities that may be available in the 3rd round would be James Hudson or Brady Christensen. Hudson is actually very interesting with all of the tools and tons of potential, but he is very raw playing LT. Recruited by Michigan as a DE, struggled and transferred to Cincinnati where he moved to LT. Christensen is strong as a pass protector, but needs to get stronger in run blocking. His pro day results surprised me, especially when he broke the broad jump record for Olinemen by 3 inches.

Moehrig is a talented safety that I have seen ranked as high as 15th as a prospect. I don't see him worth that type of ranking, I actually think that Grant and Holland might be better than Moehrig. I would not be upset getting one of these guys at 73, or a slight move up like we did for Chinn last year. Safeties later on that are intriguing are Wiggins, Washington, Hufanga, and Cisco
