Panthers went from a nice substantial chunk of cap space last offseason to trying to trade for scraps and hoping anyone will take Teddy off their hands within a year. Brutal.

Shanahan wants Jones. The rest of the org is trying to convince him Lance is the better options.

Jets will ultimately take a 3rd for Darnold. Panthers are still looking to trade up but Darnold is a backup plan.

Ive heard that same thinking a few times, Shanny wants Jones and scouts/performance crew wants Lance. Shanny is like Rivera/Bilacheat, hes got nearly full control.
