Decided long ago, which is why I didn't think Sam would get moved. Any team that got him already knew they'd exercise it, unless he came DIRT cheap.

It’s still not a terrible move given how young Darnold is. I just wish this kind of trade was available last year instead of signing a known trash QB in Bridgewater. Honestly I just wish the Panthers had rolled with Kyle Allen and had more to work with this offseason money wise.

The Jets were arguably the worst offensive roster in the entire league. If Fitterer can protect him (cough) Sewell (cough)....he’s going to be a very good QB for us.
