Go on record: WHO DO YOU WANT!

Recommended Posts

Want the panthers to hold firm at 8 or a 49er like trade offer happens.

Be happy with Pitts, Chase, Sewell, or a personal want Kwity Paye!

Since the Darnold trade, I dont buy the QB talk. Ive given up the keys to the Lance spaceship..... but would support him if the panthers go in that odd direction.

Sewell then Slater. Double down with interior OL round two. This franchise has taken 2 OL in the first round in the last 25 drafts. The one top 10 selection used on OT was Jordan Gross and he gave us stability for years. Make it a priority for once.

You can add whatever weapons you want but if you don't give a young raw qb like Sam a LT it's not going to be pretty.

I want at least 3 OL in this draft, don't care what rounds as long as we start before rd3. Don't watch enough college to make a bold choice, but stoked to look up our picks immediately after to get hyped.

Competition at QB. If fields or lance is there take them. OL. But as much of a luxury as it is, a TE can block for you and be a threat in the passing Game.

So Lance/Fields, and Pitts If neither QB is there. Then use the remaining draft for OL. Possibly a CB.

The rational thinking person in me wants Sewell or Slater. The Madden GM in me wants Pitts because he is a freak of nature and I have visions of Megatron. Only problem with that line of thinking is it's hard to get Pitts the ball if the QB has no damn time to pass it.

    • No way do I trade 2 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder for Tunsil or really any LT at this point. It's great that we are 2-0 and our defense is solid, pass protection is decent and Brady seems to be scheming to get the ball out pretty quickly and Darnold seems to have a good feel for what is going on in the pocket.  Our biggest issue is run blocking and a LT isn't going to fix that.  It's the guards and center that have to win those battles.  I hope we build from within, let's see Brown eventually and give Christensen a chance.  Also, we may want to do more of a zone blocking scheme when running pulling the guards and loading up one side of the line of scrimmage especially with all our TEs.  Still biggest problem is winning the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 4th and 1....Brady and Rhule have to know we can't win those with the interior line we have right now.
    • I think most here would agree our short yardage push is currently inadequate. I'd love to see the Panthers install a jumbo package with Deonte Brown lined up as one of the TE.   Brown would only be in to block, not catch a pass.   But can you imagine the push we could get from Brown & Moton lined up beside each other ?  Plus Tremble as an H-back for blocking.   And use the big back we recently acquired, Royce Freeman as the ball carrier.    That's the kind of lineup to make a tough 3 yard gain.
