Teddy hasn't reached out to Sam yet following the trade

Even before he was traded, did you guys ever hear any positive things about Teddy's presence in the locker room and leadership during the season?  I know there was a lot of preseason hype, but the silence was deafening towards the end of the year.

meh

i feel bad for him ultimately.

he's probably ready to get out of what is to him a toxic and nightmarish year of employment.

Dude got his shot and was paid well, performed poorly (though exactly in line with his past performance), called his coaches out in public, got some frank candor back in public, and is getting replaced. It's possible there is more behind the scenes and perhaps he wasn't treated fairly but it doesn't appear that way, and any behind the scenes stuff could be him behaving poorly as well. This outcome appears a direct result of his own play and conduct and if he's pissed about that then it's just more deflection and external locus of control.

Don’t care for all the Teddy hate.  He did his best and he wasn't as terrible as people here are saying.  He doesn’t need to meet and greet the guy when the writings on the wall.  He knows he wont be here.

I mean, hard to knock Teddy for that.

They just replaced him.  They want to get rid of him.   Why would he play welcoming committee.  I don't fault Teddy for that.

Tepper/Rhule didn't handle Cam or Teddy correctly.  Moving on from either is fine.  But they go about business shitty.  And you don't have to do that.

Some of you guys are ridiculous. We all know he's gone.  He isn't talking crap.  He's minding his own business.  This seeks like a mature and fine way to handle this.

Also why do people think he has burner social media accounts? Lol.  I've not seen anything like that confirmed.

Honestly, who cares?  Teddy is not thrilled.  The team just traded for his replacement.  I don't see a problem with him being himself.  At this point, Teddy knows he's not going to get a fair shake.

Teddy also got paid a ton of money for a season basically.  If he get's cut, he still gets paid.  I don't feel bad for him one bit.

Jesus, some of you losers need to grow up!

It's sad/funny how many of you hold these players to a much higher standard than you hold yourselves in virtually every way. Just because they make a lot of money doesn't mean they're not human. None of you would be psyched if your boss put an ad in the paper for someone to replace you, then replace you with another team's question mark employee. Teddy hasn't said or done anything negative, and some of you idiots are acting like he's trying to sabotage Darnold or are maligning his character because he's not rolling out the red carpet for the guy taking his job. In a perfect world they would compete for the starting role, but the team has made it evident that they're moving on, and so we all know that's not going to happen.
