8. DeVonta Smith

39. Landon Dickerson

I wouldn’t be mad at all. Smith is an immediate upgrade over Curtis. Give Darnold all the weapons and see what he can do.

interesting .......

Doesn't make a lot of sense for us. Not atrocious, just head scratching.

But, it is Mel Kiper. The expectations start pretty low.

Smith is one of the most game-breaking, unstoppable WRs in college that we have seen in a LONG time.  His season last year was absolutely incredible.  I would not be upset with Smith, Waddle, Pitts or Chase at 8.  Its never a bad thing to add more weapons to your offense.

For that to be the pick there would need to be about 12 guys taken in the first 7 picks.

Fitterer falls asleep during the eighth pick and wakes up after 4 teams have rushed to the virtual podium?

Devonta is supremely underrated.  Chase, Waddle and Pitts are more athletic but Smith has that sneaky always open and crisp route running that will bring him success in the NFL.  I like Landon but I'd  rather have a tackle in the second.
