I do think Parsons is maybe a bit overrated. I like JOK better as well as guys like Philips and the top two corners.

Well, I admittedly have a strong ND and U of SC bias.   But our U of SC picks have historically overachieved IMO.  But that probably is more about where they were drafted.

I personally think Parsons is better.  But like I said above.

@Varking you still feel comfy about our bet?.....

I remember we made a bet but I don’t remember the specifics. But yeah, our bet was about adding/changing our signature to what the other person says for a season so long as it’s not vulgar or bannable? I’m always down for actual friendly wagers.

Bet was Lance would be within 10 picks of where Fields was drafted.....I felt super comfy then and on cloud 99 weeks before the draft....

I bet Lance would be within 10 picks.

As another note, a lot of teams are going to opt for players who did not opt out last year and that could very well be a draft night trend, so watch out for that.  Let's get it.

8. Carolina Panthers
Penei Sewell, OT, ORE
Nat's notes:  This is obviously a dream scenario and one that as you can see, could easily play out. Slam dunk pick for a team that has been looking for their starting LT since Jordan Gross retired. If Detroit sticks at 7 and picks Sewell, Slater would make a ton of sense as well. Protect Sam Darnold or give him a weapon (Waddle/Smith)

I have noticed a trend of Slater moving up ahead of Sewell. Since both opted out of 2020 how comfortable are you on a scale of 1-10 that the Panthers have Sewell above Slater?

Top 8 is pretty close to mine. I had New England trading up to 4 for Fields, DeVonta Smith going to Miami (although I agree that Pitts is more likely the pick,) and the Lions staying put and taking Sewell.

I’m pretty sure 1-3 are set in stone at this point.
