Fill in the blanks: The Panthers' Big Board

FUN FOR ALL YOU NEEDED TIME KILLERS AND ACTIVITIES TO KILL THE NEXT 5 DAYS-THINK WORD SEARCH HERE. SORTA.

In the Pre-draft presser, Fitterer says the Panther Round 1 board is 16 names.    While I am not sure how they do this, Let's assume they have 16 players they would draft at #8 or in a trade back-in Round 1.  So this is not the 16 best players, it is the 16 Round 1 Players who make the Panther shopping list.

Who are they?  Here is the drill--I am going to provide a list of the top 40 players from the list Cpt. Morgan shared on another thread.  You select the 16 first round players names on their board. Who is not on the board, in what order are the others on the board.  Bold your 16

I wanted to include Parsons, and I know Rhule knows the kid based on his alumni status, but I have heard things about Parsons, and then I heard Rhule say something like, "A player may not be the kind of kid we would want to coach..."  Parsons jumped into my head.  Then we have Perryman, Carter, etc. and I know we are a franchise with a long proud tradition at MLB---better than any other team (including the Bears) I can think of---so I was torn.

Im cheating some with the Jones/fields thing. Verge says they have him 3rd and John Jones said his sources laugh at that thought.

Not in order and not my top 16, my opinion of panthers. Too lazy to adjust, but its close enough

I do think they prefer Fields over Lance.

I removed parsons and Lance, added Jalen Philips, seems he is a hot name currently.

Collins is one of those hybrid guys that is tough to predict where he goes in the draft, but I assume Rhule could make good use of him

No order. The only one I'm not sure about is Darrisaw - the talent is there, but I don't know how he's done in interviews. If you can motivate him he's the #1 OT on this list imo.

    • Be careful, I was told yesterday that our defense was solid. While signing Clowney helped that, I still agree that CB, and ILB are big needs and day 1 starters can be found at 33, 39, and 65. The same can be said for C and WR (deep draft). I would love for those 4 positions to be addressed with our first 4 picks. I have a feeling that if the right ILB is there, Morgan will have a hard time passing on him.
