Playoffs mathematicly clinched at least get our guys healthy for the playoffs and we the Lighting are the only team in the first two rounds that worry me.

That’s why we need the 1 seed. I feel like Florida stands the best chance against Tampa in the first round. Though they have looked not all that sharp in reality.

I think with us getting a point and Florida on the verge of a loss we still sit with a two game lead on control of our destiny.

Yeah with the Florida loss we are still in full control, two points and two games in hand on them.... Three points up on Tampa...

I'm completely off the Reimer bandwagon. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he still allowed a couple weak goals.

I'd be remiss not to mention 4 goals by blue-liners in the last 2 games.

And the line combos by RBA almost look desperate at this point.

Reimer is giving up 3-4 goals every time he's on the ice....

The lack of depth due to injuries at this point is certainly affecting how they approach the game, the Canes play a high energy high speed brand of Hockey and when your better players are having to put in the extra minutes on a grind of a road trip this should be expected.

I think we win last night easily if Ned/Petr are in goal.

Taxi squad: Shore"

I doubt we’ll see any injured return but I think we might see some taxi squad/line movement. At most maybe Fast back. But I’m gonna bet that’ll probably be at our first home game after this stretch and someone else probably getting a “rest”.

    • After watching the 360 program on NFL Network (I think), I am emotionally drawn to drafting UNC's Walker.  Here is why:  He has the tools.  His critics complain about his route running.  After all he'd been through, I wonder if he ever really had a coach work on mechanics.  Canales wants the staff to be developmental.  Walker would appreciate being in Charlotte for his grandma--think that is a small deal?  Watch the video.  We may be the team best equipped to maximize his potential.  Not in the second round, but the third?  Add what Lomabardi said about the best WRs in the NFL not being from the first round--Walker could be a steal in the third.
    • Please a million times yes!!! Would love to lock him up long term, even moreso if he is willing to take a slight discount because he likes being here.
