Yea, I don't understand the Fields (apparent) fall.  I've watched a lot of YouTube breakdowns (Brett Kollman and JT O'Sullivan, in particular), and he looks like the real deal.

He may just be unfairly looked at like the other Ohio State Qb that put up huge numbers. Hard to say why.

If Fields is there I think we take him and push the other needs down the line. I believe the kid can play and a year/half a year of sitting will do him some good.

Would love Sewell, don’t really see Miami and Cinci passing on him, depends on what ATL does.

If both Sewell and Fields are there, I think we go with Fields. Not picking up Sam’s 5th year option is very telling and I don’t think they’re bluffing just to bluff.

If both are gone then trading down would be my preferred option and going LT/CB

If we stay put and draft Horn I’d be happy too, the dudes a stud corner.

Sewell would make me have an ear to ear grin like the Joker. I want Slater if Sewell is gone. If both are gone, I wouldn't mind trading back a couple of slots and get Horn. I've really warmed up to having a shut down corner. But if we draft a WR, I'm going to be pissed and in a foul mood for days.

I started feeling a few days ago that Horn was our guy. I don’t see Sewell being available (though he’s who I want in this draft so I’m glad to hear you believe we take him if he’s there) and based on comments regarding what Snow looks for when evaluating defenders and our need at CB, I think either at #8 or preferably via trade down, we come away with Horn this evening. Which I am actually good with but really want a LT.

    • so the current Carolina Panthers are a team that is in a similar situation that the 2022 Carolina Panthers were in about this same time exactly 3 years ago. & after the 2022 season & missing the playoffs because of a last game of the season loss to the Tom Brady led Bucs  Carolina Panthers brass then thought hey you know what we are just a Qb away from taking that next step & becoming a playoff contender in 2023 .so of course that's what the Panthers proceeded to do when they traded up to the #1 overall pick in order todraft Bryce Young .& here is history repeating itself as it often does & the Carolina Panthers are once again in a close race at the end of the season with Tampa Bay for the NFCS title in 2025  it's took what 3 years now to get back to where we started to begin with prior to drafting Bryce Young  &so tell me once again who is really holding this team back ? ...just saying hRi

    • Well, looking at it now I would agree that he should cede some of his power and focus on being a leader of an entire NFL program and becoming a better strategist. And leave the details of implementing that to the people he has hired to work under him.  But I am just some guy that gets his info 3rd hand and works off of incomplete info, using assumptions to draw conclusions.
