The most I know is that it feels like the NBA has less parity the more the playoffs advance. Where as the NHL is the opposite in my opinion. Don’t know if that’s actually accurate but it seems to me like higher ranked NBA teams always win. -

Someone brought up that Joe Thornton played in the playoffs with a torn ACL because skating doesn’t require as much knee movement as running and cutting. I’d think for a defensemen it would be harder though because the opposing forwards will know that Pesce can only go forward and back, no side to side movements. -

With current trends & the type of consultants that would be hired--they likely take the silver out, reduce the shoulder stripe, and it would have this over-simplified bland look to it. I think our all blacks with the classic helmet is the best look and is sharp as hell. Those are great--and then I associate the team w/ the all-white as those are the most worn and look fine. It's fairly timeless. The longer we hold, the more trends will come back around to our styling and we can pass over the current fads. I do wonder if they'd ever explore an alternative logo but meh.
