Rhule says there are multiple players still available that they have 2nd and 3rd round grades for.

They are talking in this presser about scheme seemingly more/with more emphasis than in previous years where it was like:
Hurney: derp /fart
Gettleman: BIG GUYS REGARDLESS OF IF THEY ARE GOOD OR NOT

At least this staff has a specific plan for the people they are picking whether they are big or small or w/e

It looks exactly like that too. Except that every pick has been athletic freaks. Thats a trend.

I don’t want to say anything yet but if you really did have a 2nd round grade on a guy wouldn’t it be smart to take them at 89 to ensure you got them? At your 5th player taken it would seem that you’d want to lock that in since we only have one 4th round pick. It’s 52 other picks before our 5th so what are the chances that we’ll get two of those 2nd round guys?

Maybe they will package the picks to move up into the late 4th--their board is only 150 players, so if they get 2 tomorrow, we could be done.

ALL HAIL SCOUTT FINESSER

I hope that means that the team is looking to use one or two of those three 6th round picks to move that 5th up into the 4th to scoop up two of those players that he's talking about 👀

Then use the final 6th pick on whoever is left on the board?

Yea, sorry but I call BS.... if we really felt like that, we wouldn't have kept trading down but we'd have taken some of these players.

Either that or they have 2nd round grades on players that they know the rest of the league views as 6th and 7th rounders, which if the case, would be a whole different problem.

these supposed 2nd-3rd round graded players that are still available are not freak athletes that are going to produce on just any team. if they were, they would’ve been taken already. they’re only going to have a chance at panning out if they’re put into the right system. it doesn’t really matter which round you’re selecting them in at this point.
