Tremble Compared to George Kittle

Went back and watched NFLN's coverage of our picks to see their breakdown of them and it was all love, but the most interesting take to me?  Daniel Jeremiah, who I really like and respect, said Tremble reminds him a lot of George Kittle when he was coming out of college.

If he can become THAT or even close?  A reliable pass catcher, combined with his athleticism and nasty streak...  My God.

Edit: sorry for the initial typos that I hopefully corrected, my kids are up and blasting Gangam Style (with dance party) from Alexa and I can't hear my own thoughts.😂

I caught that too when Jeremiah was talking about him.  His blocking skill is awesome.

In another post someone posted the athletic traits scores where he scored well.  The goals of our draft team seems to put a huge value on this score.  Tons of highly athletic players.   I am sure they'll work with him to at least make him a threat as a receiver.

Didn’t like this pick...will obviously cheer for the guy to succeed but I’d caution that we do this every year...compare guys to the best at their position to get us pumped up...Kittle?? That’s such a long shot at this point...I hope y’all temper these expectations

Not sure about that comparison.  Kittle had amazing hands coming out of college, and if there were doubts about him it was in relation to his blocking.  Tremble is just the opposite.  Doubts about his hands, no doubts about his blocking.

Which is funny, bc I watched the post-rounds presser and when they asked Fitterer about what traits the players we picked so far shared, he said stuff like leadership, loves the game, has an edge, great teammate, great work ethic, etc.  And then Rhule followed him up immediately and said athleticism.  And I think he said something like, when we know they have transferable athletic traits that carry over from college to the pros, it's easier to develop their football skills.  So, yeah, it's clearly something we are targeting and we prioritize.  From the metrics people have shared showing how athletic our guys are compared to the rest of the prospects, even compared to previous drafts, let alone the current one, to Rhule actually stating it, it's clear we have stepped into a new era...  and I love it.

I know Rhule wanted advanced analytics at the forefront, as did Tepper, and it seems Fitt was the perfect fit (pun intended) to punctuate the direction in which we were going.  Seattle was doing this stuff for years ahead of many other organizations and it's how they found guys like Kam Chancellor and Sherman in the later rounds and turned them to all-pros.

Well, it wasn't my comp lol.  Still, maybe he was referring to frame and measurables/potential?   Tremble's athleticism is mentioned all through his scouting report.

I got pooed 20ntimes for expecting him to be able to catch to be drafted in the 3rd round lol.

I dont mind the pick, but i think we reached a little bit if he is only a blocker.

Except the biggest thing we need right now is blocking  ..and the guy is a hungry violent beast just looking for someone to hit.

He's not an LT, he's not an LG. He's not OL.

Hes not a WR. He's not an RB. I don't even like him being called a TE. I think he's that by default. He's a big FB.

He's a mobile hitman on offense who's primary job will be to block/pancake as many people as possible to protect the QB and pave a path for the run game.

Does he catch? Maybe. Can he get better at receiving? Maybe. That would be gravy. The guy is a heavy hitter who can be an absolutely crucial asset to the offense.

He has very limed tap and snaps but he can run routes and catch. He's just on another level blocking though.

yeah, ive been seeing more and more that he's very underrated in that regard. i hope he is, but i'm just excited about that bashing. would be great to have him be someone you could dish the ball off to. i'd work him hard with receiving coaches but also with the RBs. dude could be a short yardage monster.

    • It is never too late in life to start a fitness regime. If it is an area that you have not paid attention to in the past, there are some fundamental items that you need to consider before you think about fit and toned once more. After all, we don't want you hurting yourself. Here is a list of things you should consider. In order to maximize your running fitness, be sure to give yourself a break every six weeks or so. This will allow your body to recover and help to prevent injury. During this break week, it is advisable to not rest completely, but to cut the workload in half. To help tone up your biceps for growth and definition, a two-handed arm curl is by far the best exercise you can do. With a simple weight bar and at least 30 pounds of weight, make sure you do around three sets of 7-10 curls each day. This exercise takes mere minutes and the results will be leaner, stronger, bigger biceps.   Read This Also: • three recents. i'd be cool with any mix and matching of these three. leaning more on the AD/Pearsall combo than AD/McConkey... seems like getting similar players while allowing for another roster upgrade at the 39ish pick. Isaac, Sweat and Tampa could all come in and have an immediate impact on next year's team
