Luke Kuechly has resigned from the Panthers scouting staff

Apparently it happened sometime in the last few weeks but wasn't known until now.

No word on what happened or why at this point.

Likely really doesn't know anyone left on the staff and may not have much say in the process. Probably decided to just be with his family now. Worked a lot of late nights.

Was really happy to see the news about us interviewing Dan Morgan for the Assistant GM job, but it looks like that dream of Morgan and Kuechly on the same staff isn't gonna happen.

He'd still technically have a contract.

Working is not something you have to do--and when football is over, go find something else to focus on--more to life than football.

Personally, after college football, everyone (including myself) thought I would love coaching high school football.  I hated it.  Lasted about 3 years and became the best dang sidewalk vendor on Freedom Drive.
