Nice post but I doubt Marshall contributes anything this year

I don't know; his route running, first step, and contested catch abilities are hard to ignore.  Our 3rd receiver last year got 77 catches.  Even if Marshall isn't the set 3rd option going into the year, the Brady's offense will allow him to get some balls, and quite a good amount.

The funny thing in all of this is... we are completely underselling the McCaffrey effect. With him purely just on the field, that will open up things for other guys to eat. Especially if we actually use him as a decoy for plays like we should

Exactly.  If he runs to the flat from the gun, he instantly pulls a linebacker.  We're going to be able to do a lot this year with the revamped offense around CMC & DJ.

Well, he has two vet WRs in front of him.  So there is that.   CMC will eat in the pass game a lot with Sam.

But the other side the coin is what Joe Brady does on offense.  And that isn’t running an O with 2 WRs on the field all game.

Look at last years draft.  2nd round WRs had no trouble getting up to speed with no preseason or offseason.

I think the 300- 500 yard range is what he will do as a rookie.  A situational roleplayer as a rookie.

I think a 35+ rec, 600+ yd type year isn't out of the picture.  Rookie WRs are used a lot league wide, we run the spread, and Brady knows him more than the other new additions.

    • Second round — 33rd overall pick: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas   Mock trade with Green Bay Packers Panthers acquire: 41th (second round via the New York Jets) and 126th (fourth round) overall picks. Packers acquire: 39th (second round) overall pick. Second round — 41st overall pick (from GB via NYJ): Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M The Panthers probably need to start planning for life after Shaq Thompson. The longtime captain is coming off a serious leg injury and is in the final year of his reworked contract. While there is a lot of optimism hovering around Thompson’s return, the Panthers should hedge their bets at inside linebacker. A succession plan at inside linebacker would be forward-thinking and wise from a long-term roster-building standpoint. Third round — 65th overall pick: Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State Fourth round — 101st overall pick: Kris Abrams-Draine, CB, Missouri   Fourth round — 126th overall pick (via GB): Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin   Fifth round — 141st overall pick (via NYG): Brenden Rice, WR, Southern California   Fifth round — 142nd overall pick (via TEN): Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas   Seventh round — 240th overall pick (via PIT): Evan Anderson, NT, Florida Atlantic
    • Now, Now, Now....you know you are asking for too much from a number 1 overall pick who hasnt lived up to his status. Figure i would let you know that before the usual suspects did.
    • Stress is one of the worst things for your body, hair and scalp as you should try to reduce this at all costs. Stress can cause dandruff and facilitate the graying process, which damages the way that you look. Eliminate stress and triggers of stress to feel and look great during the day. Whenever a blow dryer is being used, it is important to move your hair around so that the heat isn't focused on a single area. This will lessen the chance of your hair being damaged due to heat. Avoid overusing styling products. Using too many lotions, creams, conditioners and the like can be just as destructive to the hair as using none. Hair-care products can build up over time, smothering your hair in a coating of oil and chemicals and irritating your scalp. Stick to a few reliable products and rotate them occasionally to keep them from building up.
