I mean our own Cam Newton was hurt diving to stop a TD when KB should have first ran the route properly and caught the ball, second tackle the fugin guy....but yea shitty teams derp and fail their QB....just adds to the point really.

Speaking of which, how do we turn off that damn fat KB picture on the right?...am I the only one seeing this?

I have AdBlock Plus installed on my browser, and it allowed me to block it (right clicked on the picture and selected Block Element).  I've done that with a couple of those pictures over time.

It's pretty funny to see someone who got upset over perceived negativity that is discussing the reality of the situation with Darnold's past as a starter turn around and compare him to Drew Brees before a single preseason snap in a new offense. I would be ecstatic if that happens but uhhhh I need to be made a believer just a little bit before I put that level of expectation out there.

First off, I loved his well-thought-out argument and the stats he brought.

There was never any complaint about it.

Second, your post (the bolded part) with the whole holier-than-thou bullsh*t is why I have you on Ignore and I curse myself for deciding to view your post for some reason.    That won't happen again.

Unsurprisingly, you still cannot make any logical argument to support any position you hold.

I mean, as an example of a guy who was pedestrian his first few seasons but turned it around, it's valid.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I don't think it's meant as a comparison to Brees (or at least it shouldn't be).

And personally, I'd be happy if Darnold was just good to great. He doesn't necessarily have to be Hall of Fame worthy for us to be successful.

It is pretty funny to see simple concepts soar over your head on a regular basis.

2nd round pick is all it'll cost us regardless so its going to be a meh or one of the best trades of all time if it works out. We arent' used to this as a team but there is nothing to lose here at all. If he stinks we draft one with our top pick. Clearly they didn't have one of this years QBs higher than him or they'd have just drafted them. If that speaks to their evaluation skills that's a different topic and would be 2 QBs that flubbed.

Only Tepper can say what that would mean going forward but their other picks and development have worked out so they are on the better side of the draft evaluation as of now.

I guess part of my reason for optimism is that it really feels like our current leadership actually knows what they're doing.

It's been a pretty long time since I've felt that way.

No doubt. Obviously everyone on here will know that I am historically a trash talking asshole who gives this team and all it's moves the business and it was well warranted when we have fugin JR and Rivera and Hurney at the helm....not the case anymore
