Seriously, take away the unforced turnovers, Nashville is just taking advantage of us trying to play their game again. We're not going to beat and bang them to death. We won't win doing it. Keep skating and passing around and start shooting. Constantly one too many passes that lead to turnovers because they collapse the slot.

And I feel like that's mostly because Lorentz is 0-50.

Lorentz is the biggest head scratcher for me on this team. What does he do, exactly? Like he's good defensively and good at digging out pucks...but I know a few guys I've played with in pick up at Indian Trail that would produce more.

As someone who has watched every minute of Canes hockey this season I actually don't like it we out hit a team...

He's a 4th line backup, he wouldn't be playing if Paquette was healthy. He's a grinder who can dig pucks out and occasionally make a decent assist, he has no shot whatsoever and is terrible in the face off circle.

He brings the good snacks on road trips. No Great Value Sandwich Cookies in his bag...

Not really. Most of this is self inflicted. Only area we're getting dominated is the faceoff circle.

The puck was in our defensive zone most of the 2nd period... Honestly the worst period I have seen us play so far in this series. We are lucky to only be down 1 and sadly were a post away from being tied

I love physical hockey...but that ain't us right now. We grind boards, we don't try to muscle plays unless we're talking Svech.

Again, self inflicted. We're just being careless. Hopefully Rod is chewing asses at intermission.
