the kid we dropped him for hasnt played football in 2 years. However, he has a Vince Papale type story. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe Marky Mark can play him in a movie.

Edit: Damned good movie though.

Stevens was a guy that Rhule and Sean Payton literally fought for during the draft last year. Not sure if that’s a good sign for Rhule.

We considered him as undrafted FA.  Hardly “fighting” over him

As a camp body

But basically so was Stevens. Switching out one for another.

I guess it was obvious that he wasn't going to be a QB for the team do they tried him out at TE but that didn't work either.

I wonder if tight now it's about finding curiosity players to see if there is a gem somewhere.

Possible. Teams are always turning the bottom of the roster.

Plus it's nice to think that guys might actually have to show a reason why they should stay other than just "well, I signed him".

My uncle used to joke about his old playing days "I may have been short, but I made up for it by being incredibly slow."

I chose to pair my snail’s pace with a total lack of athleticism.

A combination so deadly, I found my self on the field every Friday night, but during halftime…

I didn't remember seeing a thread about Stevens as third QB.

Regardless, just a reminder that great athlete doesn't necessarily mean good football player.

Yes there was. I even tried to tell them he was a JAG who was liekly to not even be on the team ,not the second coming of Taysom Hill, and got all kinds of grief for it.
