Top 3 WR's ever to play in the NFCS

Who are your top 3 WR's of all time in the NFCS?

1. Julio Jones Arguably the best WR in the NFL since he came in to the league. Can never forget that he put up 300 yards against us in a single game.

2. Steve Smith: Has probably the most impressive, unrecognized, accomplishments all time in the NFL and that being the Triple Crown.

3. Marqcus Colston: Not a sexy pick, but 7th round mother fugger played against us for 10 years and was dominate. I could see him being replaced on this list by Mike Evans or Micheal Thomas but give me a high level player for 10 years at this point.

Maybe its my panthers shaded glasses, but I would put Smith above Jones, in large part because Smith rarely played on pass happy teams, while Jones was on a passing prolific offense.  But beyond those two, I am not sure anyone stands out.

I would also put Smith over Jones. Some people act like Jones is on the level with Rice, Moss and Owens.

Yea Jones put up 300 yards on us against a terrible secondary. So what?

The pecking order begins with 89 bottom line. Julio is really good but if Smith went up against the corners Jones dumped on for 300 yards Steve would have put up 500 in his prime.

Imagine Smitty going against Bene Benwikerie for an entire game! Yikes!!

You could put SS above Julio and I would be happy with that.

I think the SS was more impressive given his height, weight and QB he has throwing him the ball than Julio. Julio has the prototype height, weight and QB. That said I dont think that should be a knock against him.

I could very well be wrong, but I thought he broke his leg in that game? Been awhile, so I’m fuzzy. But thought he got hurt covering Jones.

His excuse after the game was not being in shape. He said they would send out fresh WRs to run streaks, then put Julio in when he was tired.

He did break his leg against the falcons, but It wasn't the 300 yard game.

Bene was cut after the 300 yard game.

I dont really know what the Panthers were expecting when you let Norman walk, play rookies at corner and had Bene as the #1 corner coming off of a broken leg, bad things are going to happen.
