We've all seen so many "bold" predictions, but what about not-so-bold predictions? Give me your 5 most lily livered predictions for the Carolina Panthers in 2021.

- CMC will win the starting RB job.

- Greg Little will continue to suck.

- Mick Mixon will continue to average 2.78 homoerotic comments a game.

- The Huddle will wail with angst at the final JAG camp cuts.

- DJ Moore will continue to produce at a high level in 2021, despite our small contingent of Moore haterz.

This is a great idea.

CMC will juke defenders.

The Oline will have injuries.

Each sack and interception will generate Huddle "I told you so" posts

David Newton will tweet when Darnold gets the 2nd half of his couch.

Each Sunday I'll be with my son, beer in hand,  watching the Panthers battle.

The gameday threads will be filled with knee jerk overreaction

Brian Burns will get at least 1.5 sacks

Someone will catch a ball while being defended by Donte Jackson

The O line will be mediocre

Edit: That last one might be a little bold

I think betting on our OL to be mediocre to bad is one of the safest bets for the Panthers, historically.

1. Sam Darnold wins the starting QB job.

2. Horn becomes the week 1 starter

3. Brown with continue to get pressure while demanding double teams in which the Huddle will complain about his sack total.

4. CMC will make the Pro Bowl

5. Trainwreck will lose his poo every time Fields scores a TD, no matter how well Darnold is playing.

6. Sizzle will get a semi if Darnold struggles and use it for trolling material.

Bad is definitely a safe bet. Mediocre might be a little bold this year

I think last year the line was mediocre by luck and this year's OL moves is/were meant to maintain that "middle of pack" position while upgrading on multiple other positions to "build the roster"

I hope you're right. It has disaster potential.

Yeah I mean... I think they took good steps (small baby steps) in the right direction for the OL. But next year is where we will likely see the real upgrades. Should have no issue with the kind of money we'll have.

But things like... needing a new QB (hopefully we won't and Sam is our guy), strengthening the S position, and filling in for the "prove-it contract" guys that didn't prove-it (hopefully they show out)... could get in the way.

Horn wins defensive rookie of the year

DJ Moore will be a top ten 2021 receiver

Brown improves by getting more sacks

Darnold leads Panthers to 9-8, just miss getting in the playoffs

Well, if that is your version of timid.....your bold takes must be something.

I think the main steps they took were in relation to depth, IMO. I can't say that we got better on paper across the starting OL. It's possible that the combination of FA signings and draft picks are able to mesh into an above average starting unit but it isn't anything I would bet on before the season.

I just hope however good or bad they are, we can stay healthier. We got a lot of guys in that unit that have suspect injury histories.
