The Combine in Charlotte?

I think the new practice facility in SC would make the most sense to host the combine. But the draft being held in uptown sounds like a fantastic idea and a great way to show off the city.

I'd agree.

It would be cool to have it but I'd rather have the draft, for sure.

Most definitely.  Late February is still quite cold and I'm not sure our indoor facility is large enough to hold that event.

The draft is in early May and the possibility of a perfect weekend weather wise would bring out a huge attendance.  Add the great southern hospitality and Charlotte becomes a favorite spot for the draft.

I would love the draft.  I would spend 3 days there, and I would act stupid.

I remember going to a Walter Camp All America dinner and it was awesome meeting a bunch of college all Americans and getting autographs as a kid. Hindsight, I wish I went to a different year. Kerry Collins, Kijana Carter, Rashaan Salaam and Michael Westbrook were the  headliners. Warren Sapp “slept in” or was likely too stoned. I think Derrick Brooks was the best player actually there. Anyway, something like that would be awesome. If the combine is something that stays around longer then that would be cool as I’m sure they’d do something cool like signings or events. Who knows.

Charlotte is much better equipped for the draft than combine.

While Indys downtown is ideal for most any event with their facilities which are well connected to each other. Not many cites can match their setup.
