I understand the mixed feelings, he truly was one of the all time Panther greats. But not so great as to have his number retired. I think he realizes that. The only numbers to be potentially retired in my opinion would be 89, 1 and maybe 90.

I will probably catch poo for this but for me, I agree way too many numbers are retired and the only one that should be considered imo is 89. And I say that as someone who’s favorite Panther of all time is Peppers. But not even 90 is deserving of being retired imo.

Cam didn't do enough to have his number retired and Peppers left... 89 should be the only number retired.

Seeing people in here taking shots at Greg is pretty pathetic. Dude said absolutely nothing wrong. Whether his number deserves to be retired or not, he’s the best TE we ever had by a long shot and has been nothing but an asset to the community off the field as well.

I agree.    One of the best tight-ends in the business and he was a reliable 3rd down choice for Cam in 2015.  Injuries led to us letting him go.  All he said was that he had mixed feelings and that he hoped the best for Marshall.

Thank you Thor, good luck in the booth.
