I will explain it to you. Then I am done.

@elliswas talking about Burns, and Reddicks Cap hit THIS year. You then come in with this "Where are you putting the 4M Reddick salary that hits next year when he’s playing on another team?" Your first post talks about NEXT year. See where I'm going?

@ellisthen said "LMAO, I have no idea who will end up where, I’m just using 2021 cap hit figures" Where he explains he is talking about THIS year. You come back by telling him how the contract works. Ignoring that he is talking about THIS year.

He then tries to explain himself. And you still told him he was wrong.

He tried to be gracious and apologize to you, yet you still told him his thread was wrong, and as he had his name on it. You felt he needed to set the record straight.

So yeah, you badgered him until he relented. And you still have no idea he won.

And he said I was correct. The Panthers are paying 6M for his services. Not 2M. For one year. And where is this gracious apology you speak of? The one you called “sarcastic” in the first post (which I agree it was). Is the only one. So I brought up a flaw, he agreed it had merit, but you can dream all this other stuff up that didn’t happen. The adults have no problem. It’s your clueless, hypocritical self that has the issue as always. Delusional insecurities. You can’t discuss actual football topics so you devolve threads into this BS.

Find anything I was wrong about over the last 4 years and I’ll never post here again. Easy enough for you. You can be a hero. Rid the board of me. Otherwise, ignore me and continue complaining about complaining.

1. You were correct for what you said. You were however WRONG about what the thread was about. You have been told numerous times that this thread is about THIS years Cap hit. THIS YEARS. Damm dude.

You truly cannot envision any scenario where you could possibly be wrong. Typical Narcissist

When he apologized, he was being sarcastic.

When he said you were right, he was being gracious.

He owned you, and you don't even recognize it. That is a LMAO

Why not? You made up your own version of reality so many times on here, it’s just become instinct at this point. Telling me I was right is being gracious, but he went to the trouble of running the numbers again which is where the 47th ranked edge rusher “cash spent number. Was that gracious too? Again, where is this apology I made him say? Where? Those are your words.

You just can’t handle two people having an adult conversation and working things out. You want me to be wrong so bad it killing you.

CMC has a 6.9M salary this year because it’s restructured(like Reddick) if he puts up 7M worth of production, is that a good thing? Or do you still consider him the highest paid RB ever and judge him with all the guaranteed money that got kicked down the road.

Nope. I live in reality. Not a world where I have to hear only what I agree with. That’s why I can see how things are going to actually happen, and proved it on here. And all you know is hope and trashing anything that disturbs your fantasy world. Facts are literally painful to you.

I started off defending @ellis. Fuging with @Toomersfor his behavior towards @ellis...priceless.

I know I'm being bad. But hey, sometimes you gotta be bad to keep the ol adrenaline flowing.

Honestly, I only posted that to see if anyone even remembers that far back.  Jimmy rustlin' was a proud tradition back in the day.

Sure. Any time you want to test it out we can do it. I can also show how you reAlly have only one opinion. Team is right, attack anyone who says otherwise. For a team that is 3-21 in the 2nd half of the last 3 seasons. How correct were you?

Where do you want to start?

Hellz, it's been a long time since I've heard it as well. I wonder how many of us do remember?

Gives me a wonder. I wonder what the avg. age of Huddlerz would be? I know there are more than a few of us "Old Timers" up in here.

I found this place back in mid 00's using PFT as my football news aggregate. They would link relevant team/fan sites where you could find articles or forums such as this.

Lurked a good while before even making a profile.  How the times have changed since then.....

I found this place after the Observer crashed. Spent a lot of time lurking. Once I dipped my foot in, that was all she wrote.

Some days, this place is hopping. Other days, it is dead as the wife's sex drive. lol (Just a joke dear) But when it is going, it can be as fun as anything out there. It is the first place I look for Panther news. Thankfully there are plenty of Huddlerz who like to post nuggets. So we all win in the end.

Edit to add; It is funny how some threads thrive, and others die. No rhyme or reason on that. Or at least that is how it seems sometimes.

    • I was listening to a radio show today and they discussed QBs at length.  Maye, was the biggest boom or bust prospect of the big 6.  McCarthy was the biggest question mark.  He played with an elite OL, dominant run game and heck of a head coach.  What would he look like on a, say. 1-15 NFL team? Nix, while universally QB6, they said at least you know what you are getting...solid, steady, yet unspectacular.  Obviously know Williams and Daniels are going off the board #1, #2.  Maye, may (pun), not be QB3 and that also may not be the Patriots with the third selection.  For all the UNC homers around here, Drake isn't the lock he was looking like months ago.  People have picked his game apart and come away less than blown away.
    • Great to hear from you Scot. Sorry to hear about your health problems my friend. Hope you get through them soon and back to your old self.  Like you I'm curious to see who's left on the board at 33 tomorrow after the dust settles. And like you I would love to see them grab a top center for the future if they get the chance. I'm not a big fan of moving an aging and injury ladened guard to center and counting on him to get you through a season. That's asking for trouble.  Keep Pounding my friend
    • https://www.profootballnetwork.com/latest-2024-nfl-draft-rumors-eagles-wr-buzz-michael-penix-jr-soaring-titans-caplan/ Cincinnati Bengals Multiple teams interested in veteran WR Tyler Boyd told PFN that the indication that they’ve received is that he plans to make his decision on where he plans to sign for the 2024 season after the draft. The feeling is, as a source with one of the teams said, is that he wants to see what teams do in the draft before going forward. Boyd, who is clearly the top slot receiver available on the open market, was looking for at least $9 million per year at one point earlier this offseason, another source said. The veteran pass catcher signed a four-year extension in July 2019 worth $43 million ($10.75 million per season), which expired in March. Houston Texans The Houston Texans looked into the potential of acquiring veteran WR Stefon Diggs, which went down on April 3, well before then, a league source with knowledge of the situation told us. The source indicated that the team was looking into his background and potential fit with them at least three to four weeks before the trade with the Buffalo Bills was completed. That would indicate that it wasn’t just the Bills who were looking to move him. As the source explained, the Texans felt that they wanted to build on last year’s surprising success to make another run in the playoffs.   Philadelphia Eagles There’s been surprising buzz around the Philadelphia Eagles and the wide receiver position.
As a coaching source who has worked with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore in the past told us this week, his base offense, when he has enough players at the position, is 11 personnel (1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WR). Behind the two starters at wide receiver (A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith) are two veterans on one-year deals (DeVante Parker and Parris Campbell) who have had their share of injuries over the years. Tennessee Titans Multiple league sources strongly believe LT Joe Alt, if he falls to them at No. 7 overall, will be the selection at that spot. The feeling here is that by selecting Alt, who our sources say is the “safest” left tackle for the 2024 NFL Draft, would help solidify the left side of the Titans’ offensive line with Peter Skoronski entrenched at LG. If Tennessee is able to secure Alt, that would enable the coaches to move third-year OT Nicholas Petit-Frere to RT to compete for the starting job there. Defensively, a source with knowledge of the scheme says Tennessee’s expected to run a 3-4 front with new defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson. However, his scheme has some differences from former head coach Mike Vrabel’s version of the 3-4, which has its roots from the New England Patriots. Washington Commanders With a whopping six picks available within the top 100 selections (one first, two seconds, three thirds), some teams have told us they expect the Commanders to explore the possibility of packaging some draft assets to trade up for a higher-graded player to address needs on both sides of the ball (OL, DE, CB).   Latest Buzz on Top NFL Draft Prospects Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington There’s been a lot of talk in the scouting world lately that, despite his injury history, Michael Penix Jr. will wind up being a first-round pick. Penix, known in coaching and scouting circles as possessing the best deep arm of all the QBs projected to go off the board within the first few rounds, has shown the ability to process information well based on the game tape from the past few seasons. Some teams feel that there will be at least a few teams looking to replace their veteran signal-callers over the next few seasons and will look into either trading up from Round 2 or trading down in the first in order to select him later where he would be seen as a better value. Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas There has seemed to be a lot of buzz surrounding Adonai Mitchell in recent weeks, and as one scouting source said, it’s because of his size, speed, and talent. While he’s seen as a “late bloomer” and didn’t have huge numbers in college, Mitchell is still projected to go off the board late first/early second round due to upside and how he projects to be a starter at some point within the first few seasons at the next level.   Jalyx Hunt, EDGE, Houston Christian If you’re looking for a player who could go off the board much higher than first thought, it could be this guy. Jalyx Hunt started his collegiate football career off at Cornell as a safety but would eventually transition to edge rusher at Houston Christian due in part to a late growth spurt.
