Chuck has been yanking y’all around with this BS through multiple ALTs. The post below was one of the first and 4 months before Sizzle signed up. He was all over the Pats forum saying Cam needed to “subjugate” himself to Belichik. So that fits the pattern shown here. Plenty more proof if he wants to deny it.

And true.

It amazes me how many folks think Hurney is running the show -- couldn't be further from the truth.

Hurndog doesn't have the authority to pull the trigger on ANYTHING without the approval of Tepper and/or Rhule.

For those of you who may watch Billions...Tepper is Axe...Rhule is Dollar Bill (a portfolio manager with limited trading authority)...Hurndog is a supporting analyst with no trading authority (unless it is co-brokered with Rhule and doesn't exceed Rhule's size limits).

This "strong man" obsession he has is just bizarre.

Remember when I asked if he had been banned for racist remarks before? This is what I meant, and why I asked. One of many.

On the Game Day Roster
If Cam is healthy he's running away with QB1 - starter.

I have my doubts he's healthy for 16 and playoffs if we're lucky but I'm happy we have Stidham as a bu.

I'll take a year or two of Cam, even 80% of Newton with this OL. Another move here or there to offense or defense and we're a top 3 team in the AFC.

We're basically killing time with the best possible option(s) while waiting for our QB of the future.

He's healthy as a horse.

All players are at risk of getting hurt in the course of an NFL season. In my opinion if Cam wins the starting job but isn't able to play a complete season due to a physical problem, it won't because of any legacy foot/shoulder issues, but rather a new injury. I have a hunch that after all the injury misfortune, this pitfall is behind him. (assumes he makes good decisions on sliding, cuts out showboating to eliminate targeting by opposing D, etc)

If BB is able to subjugate Cam and both go all in the ride will be a lot longer than 2 years....it could be a great 5-7 year run. (I was going to say "epic run" but caught myself..."epic" has a whole different connotation with this franchise vs. any other!)

The best possible long-term option might just be on the roster today....gonna be fun to watch!

What sort of massage would Panthers signing Watson send to women?

Good one!

All joking aside, if for some insane reason the Texans did reverse course and make him available and another franchise acquired him...

...the acquiring franchise would be putting themselves squarely in the crosshairs of the Cancel Crew/Culture...

...Senators have been removed from office for far less.

I would not mind a player of his caliber at quarterback for us, but I think we need to keep our top picks to keep building the Offensive line.  I’m old so I still believe in having a strong O/D line first and the rest will follow.

It's definitely still important, but this becomes more and more of a QB driven league every year.

That's your terminology, not mine.

In the case of Whiny Aaron and the Packers the richest man in the room is Aaron...by a longshot.

You just seem to get off on power/authority. Usually that's held by the wealthiest person but not always.

Players get cut all the time when teams decide they're no longer worth their contracts but let a player angle for more or attempt to use any leverage they may hold in any way and you go on one of your rants. It's bizarre.

Have you been able to confirm who reports to whom?

In the Appaloosa Model it looks like this:

         Tepper

Rhule < ^ >  Fitterer

If true, by definition the GM is not "traditional" because "tradition" dictates that GM's hire and manage the Coach.

What say ye?

I say you're predictable 😁

You're entitled to an opinion, it's a free country.

The "power/authority" is determined by the details of the contract both parties agree to.  It is true that I don't like it when whiny bitches who are on track to make $200,000,000+ in a career start pouting over hurt feelings and want to be let out of their contract as such.

A player can only be cut if the contract is the terms of the contract allow the team to do so.  Sometimes there are ramifications in terms of payments owed the player, sometimes not.

If a player believes a contract to be unfair, they shouldn't sign it.  If they sign it, they need to be prepared fulfill it.

If a team conducts themselves outside the boundaries set in the contract, the team should be held accountable...and you can rest assurred the NFLPA makes they are.

It's a free country, players can whine, holdout, quit...no worries here, whatever they want...

...but hurt feeling don't obligate the team to change the terms of the contract.

That's where we differ, you don't believe in contracts, I do.

It's ok to have differing views...

...understanding right & wrong and believing in the rule of law is important to me...others, not so much.

... including any women who were harassed by Jerry Richardson that are still employed by the Panthers.

You have to figure there are at least a few, possibly several.

If it pans out that way, it would probably be better to ride out the season (again) and take a QB early in the draft rather than pay big for a guy who could conceivably not be allowed to play football again. The allegations against Watson, if true, are terrible and should result in him being banned from the sport. In such a case, the team trading for him would be out the draft picks, the opportunities they would have created AND very likely be sitting on contracted dead money against the cap for years to come.

Yeah, let someone else take a chance on that.

I don't really envision a scenario where we are trading for him if there is question as to his status. We are not describing similar scenarios at all.

The NFL has non-guaranteed contracts. They HEAVILY favor the team. You just love watching people having to bend the knee to authority figures.

For Watson- I didnt want him at the 3 1sts, 2s, players and mid-late haul asking price.  Then 40+ women came with stories, weird sick stories........ Goodell needs to hand down the punishment first, its still very hard to over-look the tiny cloth with flying fluids stories form multiple massage therapists across the states lines. Most of the Houston massage people put him on their "list".
