I think we should tally based on  posts during the official season - starting with the training camp.  Then separately during the offseason, from when the SB ends until start of training camp.

I see the number of posts is still shown, but not pies/poos.  In this case, how is one's "rep" evident to everyone?  Badges are like perfect attendance awards; I'd rather see a poster's acceptance level by his/her peers.
