I don't know if he's always been difficult to work with, but based on my impression of KB, ever since his mother passed he hasn't been the same mentally. Grief can cause confusion and anger, but he has to pick himself up to be able to push forward in life.

I imagine him blowing up and storming off was when they told him he was going to be released. Kelvin must know this is probably it.

CTE? He played a season and a half. His mom dying 5 years ago? He had work ethic issues long before that.
