Left vs Right (not politics, Moton)

People have to remember that any decision at LT will have a ripple affect at other spots.

If Erving can play LT decent you might end up with:  Erving(LT), Moton (RT), Brady (LG)

but if they decide they need Moton on LT maybe Brady ends us at RT and you end up with:

Moton (LT), Brady (RT), Elflein (LG)

I just think it’s refreshing that we know of, and can see a legitimate experiment that has a chance of working.  The last time something like this was done they went high school and had a DT convert to OL.  While I give them kudos for looking, that one was highly unlikely. This seems to have a legitimate chance at improving the overall line situation.

Hahaha, that was a fiasco! An undrafted DT at that. A practice squad DT converted to starting RT for your #1 overall pick in the draft QB? What could possibly go wrong?!

I am really starting to hope so... I do not know why--prolly his workout numbers--but I want Christensen in the lineup.

I do too if he is the best guy we have at that position but we have all seen workout warriors who struggled to play as well as they train. Hopefully he is the real deal and immediately can contribute wherever he is needed. We have struggled to keep our lines healthy for some reason.

You think they both are equal to both sides?

Nothing has happened or anything. I just have it in my head, going into this season, that these two are our best outside lineman. I believe Moton can work on either side. Its more about believing in Moton + veterans. No disrespect to the rookie but he was in a poor conference not going up against elite defenses and got drafted at 24 and will be 25 years old at the start of the season. Those extra years he had on other college kids absolutely makes a difference.

Didn't we move Bell to L because he was left handed?  That failed.

I think you are correct. I forgot about that one.  The Bell experiment was a bad one.  In his defense, he was an UDFA and should not have been in that position. Organizational failure

Chandler, Bell and Amini all at the same time. 4 man rushes looked like jailhouse blitzes on the regular.
