Ehh... In each of his first two seasons, Darnold threw more TDs than Teddy has had in any of his seasons.  He's never had offensive weapons or coaching like he has now.

Honestly his decision making is still a concern.

But it wouldn't take a ton for Darnold to be better than Teddy. Nor would it necessarily make him a good QB, which is my fear.  But at least I'm also excited to see what the future holds again this season.
