I'll take heat for this, but Notre Dame doesn't belong either.

They don't play another game but everyone talking like a Baylor and Houston win could open the door for them. Fug them- they are where they are, shouldn't matter what happens with other teams.

That, and ND lost to Wisconsin at home and Wisconsin isn't playing in the Big 10 Championship. Who else did ND beat?

ND beat Wisconsin but I totally agree.  They should not get in but they did beat Purdue who was decent.  Anyway…average schedule and average team

ND beat Wisconsin, lost to cincy

If Georgia wins this game and Michigan wins Bama could get in over ND.  It will probably come down to those 2 and Ohio State

So, even if Cincy lost the conf championship this afternoon, they should still be ahead of ND based on the head-head. But the committee loves them some ND and Alabama.

Their win against Ole Miss and Ohio St win against Mich St will be much better than any ND win

However I do think ND gets in with that scenario

If things go as they should, it'll be:

Georgia, Michigan, Cincinnati, and ugh ... Notre Dame.

 

If they don't go as they should? Mayhem! I can easily see Houston pulling off the upset. Michigan more than likely wins but there's always a chance. GA could lose as well but is obviously in the Playoffs no matter what.
