I could be mistaken but I believe that he's pointing to a post above his in agreement with the "^^^^". I don't think he was bleeping out an expletive.

Granted, that doesn't mean that his thought process doesn't derive from the realm that you're insinuating.

Ok. I can see your point. I’ll edit my post.

So we're to page 6 and we've got forum critique, specific poster critique, mod critique, thread critique, fan critique, and some Cam critique.  I love you all.  Football starts this weekend.  Get some!

I couldn't make it long into the video mainly because I don't want to waste my time but do love the guy.  Hope he finds something cool to do moving forward.

If we lose to the Jets this Sunday... oh wee mayne. This fanbase has been through some rough times before, but that might hit a new overall morale bottom.

In my ideal world for Cam, I would actually LOVE for him to say "okay, maybe I am not going to be a starting QB anymore, but I still want a ring" and join the Ravens. That playbook could get really interesting. They have lost Dobbins and Edwards and Cam could be a duel threat hybrid RB. Can run the option, take direct snaps. Imagine lining up Lamar Jackson and Cam in the backfield and making the defense try to figure out wtf is going on. That would be fun to watch!

Of course there is no indication that the Ravens are even interested. But damn that could be really fun.

Could be true but if Mac Jones struggles or fails to yield more than 7 wins, not only is that another indictment on Bill that would suggest they started the rookie too early.

what I’ve seen from Mac is impressive but it was against 2-3rd stringers fighting for roster spots, not pro bowlers and starters, it’s very possible he struggles just as likely as he lights it up

Right now, Tom Brady is way ahead in the "was it more Belichick or was it more Brady" debate. His lead would be probably be insurmountable if he puts together another good season without Bill and Bill flounders again.

Greatest player to ever play for this sh*thole of an organization.  Why even post this? What's the point? The people here obviously don't care to talk about Cam so you get a thread full of meaningless posts like "hurr durr you sit on Cams laps! Haha!" from the morons that sit on this forum all day every day with nothing better to do with their life. Move on wait for Rhule to be fired and the Cam era will officially be over, at least for me anyways.

This is why this organization will never be considered great. From the front office to the fanbase, completely undeserving.

Then GTFO. We promise we'll miss you and lament the fact that we let you go.

Cam should just move to broadcasting.

This is an interesting idea. I actually do really enjoy listening to him... But I don't think he's ready to hang it up yet.

I get he's a big, intimatdating personality but he also seems a great teammate. I hope he gets a shot as a backup if that is what he wants.

100% correct, unfortunately History tells us he won’t have much success with the rookie year one

Cam's second half of his career will be better than his first half .. it's only half time regarding Cam's playing career .. a lot of people are just wishfully thinking he's done because if Cam has a comeback with another team the Panthers will look bad

I want hi to win a SB but his arm doesn’t compare to what it used to be. And not sure how much more room there is to improve with it.

Huh? Do you think he's going to the CFL or something? He hasn't been a top QB for half a decade.

    • You literally did it right there and didn't even remember it. Sorry long Friday.
    • TMac to finish up Feels good after pads came on. Physicality is a little different, playstyle is a little different. Refs let the players play, so he has to earn his stripes to get calls and just has to be better playing through contact. Focusing on staying confident and listening to coaches. Not much has changed for him, still trying to be his authentic self. Was asked about boxing practice he was seen doing. He's done that since he was a kid because his dad was a boxer and taught his siblings. Was the youngest and got beat up the most, but now he's the fourth of sixth children. Boxing helps with his cardio and being reactive with his hands to the ball + DB. Admits to struggling the first couple of days, hats off to the DB corps for making him better every single day but had his best day on Wednesday. Even the best get got. Just have to remain confident in preparation and abilities. Confidence will take you only so far, and that's where his resilience plays a factor. XL is authentic and great to have in the room. Can rely on him to be the same guy every day. They make each other better. Everybody feeds off of each other and when one person wins they all win. Happy to be a part of the receiver room. Was asked about how he was laughing harder than everybody else at XL getting his feet in the water off the back of the boat: "Man he needs to be stopped bro... He can't be serious but he was serious. It's all good." Playing against the increased amount of press he's facing in practice is helping him get more physical. His job is to catch the ball, so if it touches his hand he has to come down with it. Only catches with one hand if he needs to, but that gives the QB a bigger catch radius. Had a pregame routine where he did a 360 one-handed catch, but doesn't do it anymore. Working on being a pro: Getting into the facility early and getting treatment, eating better, etc. Just wants to win re: rookie goals. Anything he can do to help the team win. "I'm looking for to the season man and keep pounding."
    • DJ Wonnum up next Felt the defense came out ready to work at all levels and took over practice. New standard around here. Young guys have to know they're coming in to work. Last year was not the standard. Nic and Princely are fun. Different personalities but loves what they bring to the room. Sky is the limit for them. Nic sits next to Wonnum, Princeley sits next to Jones II. Allows them to be better mentors. Feels great and ready to go Incoom's athleticism allows him to bend and get low even to compensate for not being the biggest guy. Can set the edge. EDGE guys are helped when the ILBs can get home because it allows them to be a little more free while still in scheme. DB being back means his dominance is back. Can set the edge from the 3 or wherever he's at to make the runs bounce to the EDGE guys. Winning mentality and standard this year. Championship level from practice to how you live off of the field. Accept greatness and excellence with guys wanting to come to work every day. Not settling for anything less. Been in guys' shoes that are fighting for roster spots so he knows how to address them. Remembers not knowing what's next, especially as a rookie. Have a clear mind and ask the older guys a lot of questions. Has a good relationship already with Pat Jones II due to knowing each other and talking football all of the time. Can make hand gestures and know immediately what to adjust. Taking care of his body and excited to start the season. Getting it acclimated to football again by being able to tackle and bring players to the ground. Didn't know they were playing live tomorrow. Don't tell me it'll be "thud." Browns next week will allow them to hit somebody else and get a feel of what a different team is doing. Also allows the team to see where they're at on offense and defense. Ready to play football. Not worried about the QB matchup for Cleveland, going to play hard regardless of who is back there.
