Meh, best case scenario, he adds 10 more yards.  Bad decision on the coaches part.  Just not much benefit in punting from the 34 yardline.

If the defense is playing that well you just go for it.  
 

Either way you have three choices there, FG, punt, or go for it.  I would guess we easily made the worst one statistically.
