That falls on Darnold needing to be more accurate when we are in the Redzone.

Hope he improves in that aspect.

No doubt. That and the horrible fumble situation. I'm not placing blame in the post. I'm just saying we don't seem to take advantage of other teams screw ups. The Saints do. We need to capitalize on it like they do. I mean, it's not all on Darnold. There were other plays before and after those plays, but I agree he needs to get better there.

The fumble, imo, was both Sam and Ricci's fault.

But that can also be attributed to not practicing that play all that much...so that could also fall on Coaching(Rhule) as well.

How often do the Panthers use a Fullback?

I don't know man, I gotta put that on Sam. I could be wrong, I'd have to re-watch it. I mean, they are obviously both responsible. But Sam has been in the NFL for 3 years. lol! It's a hand off. Mistakes are made even in the NFL so I'm not gonna be too hard on him, but yeah....that was ugly.

Saints are one of the better coached teams in the league, but they are beatable. The Green Bay game, was more of a reflection on how bad the Packers were prepared than anything else. Jameis only passed for 148 yards and had 5 Td's, so that shows you the poor field position caused by crucial mistakes the Packers put themselves in.

One note: The Saints may be missing 3 starters for our game. The starting center was injured along with Lattimore, and Davenport.

I know they are banged up. No Thomas. No Lattimore. No McCoy. No Davenport. All key players at key positions.

McCoy may be the biggest loss for them this week, Going up agaist Brown and Dequan Jones in the middle, I have far more confidence in our ability to slow Kamara this week.

They had 148 yards passing and that is including a garbage time 50+ yard bomb.... Yes Winston had 5TDs but he completed 14 passes and was handed the ball in the redzone 3 times.... This is reminiscent of Kyle Allen tossing 4TDs vs the Texans. The Saints don't have many weapons this season BALL security on offense will be the key IMO.

    • I really think this is where the crux of everything lies. Frank and co had no clue what to draw up once Young was the pick. He’s been around long enough to know a coach killer when he sees one. He knew it was a ship destined to sink. He saw how the skill set of the line players didn’t match the scheme. Same thing with receivers. He saw how 0.0% of the Bryce hype was actually true. He couldn’t wait to get fired, and used the weekly decapitation attempts on Bryce as leverage for Tepper to finally do so. Hell, he probably bought Ickey a G wagon as a show of appreciation.
