It's interesting this is something that came up here in preseason over and over as a point of emphasis for Darnold, too.  Both Darnold and Winston have a history of poor decision making. Both coaching staffs are trying to put these guys in better situations with less risk of those poor decisions I think.

I honestly think that the 2 teams mirror each other very well. Qbs with a bad past trying to resurrect their career, both have good receiving RBs, good WRs, both have good defensive lines and good defensive backs.

The only differences are that they have a better oline, but we are in a better salary cap situation and are trending upwards as a rebuilding team while they a trending downwards after losing Brees and nearing a need to rebuild themselves.

This will be a good technical game. All about the Xs and Os. We will see if Rhule has what it takes in the coaching battle against peyton.

It's not only in the in game coaching battle.  It is in preparation.  I believe Payton may have a little league up on that sort of prep on the NFL level.  Maybe, perhaps, kinda.  🙂

The small part open to the media.  If he was able to play with the chipped bone, he'll most likely play with the chip removed.  I know Payton.  If he wasn't playing he wouldn't be out there at all.

you know Payton? wow! is he as big a douche in real life as he appears?

If we're going to beat the Saints it'll b this year.

They are that one team that seems to have our number every year. We HAVE to atleast split the series.

Iirc we havent beat that team in almost 3 years. And the last time we did, Bridgewater was the QB unless I'm mistaken. Gotta get that win on Sunday.

Only two teams I feel this way about: Saints and Seahawks.

Following reports earlier this week of several Saints assistants testing positive for COVID-19, the team announced which coaches will miss their Week 2 game due to the NFL’s coronavirus protocols.

Run-game coordinator and tight ends coach Dan Roushar, offensive line coach Brendan Nugent, wide receivers coach Curtis Johnson, running backs coach Joel Thomas, assistant special teams coach Phil Galiano, offensive assistant Declan Doyle and offensive analyst Jim Chaney will not be with the team for its Week 2 game against Carolina.
