Good lord. Where are all those posters saying we haven’t seen this unit and they could be great, while shitting on anyone who said it’s bullshit and quite clear this oline would be miserable?

Funny they seem to disappear when the seemingly obvious becomes blatant even to the most dense and they must be dumbfounded lol

I'm the one defending them because the first two games they were decent against excellent fronts.  This week, the line did not do well.  Some people want to just say they are trash all the time.  They were not the first 2 games.  They did not do well last night.

My question is, if ours are that low, wth does theirs's look like?

They can not run block for sh%t. Pass block is nothing to write home about, but better then their attempt to open any holes and are getting run over by the dline constantly. Forget going up the middle because that's impossible with this bunch. Weakest link for years.

The first two games they went from 22 to 31 ranked. Based on hurries, wb hits, time to throw before pressure, run blocking…what is the basis for not that bad? Darnold has had less time to throw before being hurried than all but a couple other QBs in the league.

Just trying to find out what specifically them not playing bad in any game is based on.

Linderbaum is my current draft crush. Would love Neal but I feel like there is almost no chance we will be in a position to draft him. We should seriously just use every pick we have on OL and if just 2 pan out as good starters I'll consider it success. Just go full on shotgun style.

I see that @ncfan and I have another to join us on the Linderbaum bandwagon. Welcome, brother.

On the third and 12 to Marshall were Sam got drilled, no a sing person on the left side(starting with paradis) even put a hand on someone.

3 free rushers. Pretty sure Darnold stared down Daley after that play, the same way he stared down Chubba after his drop in the end zone.

I'm aware.

I've only watched him his first 3 seasons of hell with the Jets.   🤷‍♂️

His last season at USC (after the Rose Bowl), he lost three of his starting offensive linemen…..then they freakin’ changed the offense he excelled in, which was basically letting Sam do his thing, to this funky “gumbo offense”…so bad, the entire offensive staff was fired a year after he left.  So…he played in two different offenses while at USC, along with the Jets mess.  He loved USC, but declared for the draft because he knew he wasn’t being coached well.

Then the poor kid gets drafted by the Jets.  Frying pan into the fire.
