Terence Steele was Collins’ replacement against the Chargers in Week 2, allowing no sacks, no quarterback hits, and three quarterback hurries. Collins missed the entire 2020 season with a hip injury, and Steele was his primary replacement then, as well. The undrafted free agent then-rookie from Texas Tech allowed nine sacks, five quarterback hits, and 34 quarterback hurries last season.

La’el has had a weird time in four years. Goes from 1st round prospect to undrafted on a bogus association to a double homicide the day before the draft and now this.

bad new friend La'el's "draft" date was 2015, not 2017

La'el's been here 6 years. Time has gone on even longer than you thought.

Collins, however, appealed the suspension, and the appeal was heard by an arbitrator appointed jointly by the league and the NFLPA. The arbitrator not only rejected Collins' appeal but also ruled that, based on the evidence, the suspension should be increased back to the original five games.

What a dumbass. I bet he didn't offer nearly enough money, which is dumb becasue:

The suspension will cost Collins roughly $2 million and, per the CBA, voids the injury guarantee worth $6.48 million in his 2022 salary.
