Did you not see the Texans game last week?

"terms of injuries" = CMC/HORN

"in game" = Team played like sh-t after CMC went down

this team has never even played down 3 points on the season though.   I think that might be the in game adversity he was referencing.

How does Darnold play down 10 early for example?   Is he going to keep playing smart? We still haven't seen a lot with this group.   That's coaches too.

Fair point...I was wrong

I was calling from memory and confused with the games when Cam was here (3-4).

Hey, have you e-v-e-r admitted to being wrong on this site?

Sure, when I have been.

That's not something that happens too often when I'm debating with you, though.

Actually so far, pretty much never.

Another bald faced lie from you!  (actually, several)

Who am I today?  Sanjay?  Chuck?  Hearing other voices today?

I did see the Texans game, that wasn't adversity.

Adversity is starting the game with your best player in street clothes and your shutdown corner at home and (likely) out for the season.

In game is being behind and showing the stones to turn it around.

We've done none of that.

Well then he's got a different opinion on what adversity is.

The Panthers faced their first true adversity on Thursday night and got through it with flying colors.

Being without CMC and HORN going into this game isn't really adversity because they've had 10 full days to PREPARE for this as opposed to just losing them in-game out of nowhere (THAT was Adversity).

And going back to your point, if the team is down, I think Sam continues to play WITHIN the system no matter what.  I don't see him start being reckless like he was in NY.

Outside of their 95 Super Bowl run, the Cowboys are 4-10 in the playoffs, with two of those losses coming from...guess who?

The only thing that bugs me is that we lose to them in the regular season only to shitkick them in the playoffs.  (Except Thanksgiving, that was a righteous beat down from the heavens).

    • Many times the best deal is the one you have.  This team has  2 top 40 picks with a draft full of talent and a team full of holes.  Whatever they do they should not squander the opportunity that is sitting in front of them.  Best you can hope for is that they don’t overthink it.
    • Space eater isn't our biggest need. But I see a value to good to pass up after his boneheaded DUI during the draft process. I assume this moves him completely out of the second round maybe pushed into the 4th. I would be hard pressed to not pull the trigger in the 3rd round somewhere.  At 6'4 366 I would love to insert him day one and just really be done with Shy tuttle who is just a jag. This guy would be an upgrade and one small mistake of partying to hard doesn't indicate a everyday problem. This kid can't be blocked 1 on 1 and just allowed texas to stop the run of his strength. he bats down a ton of passes and i would consider him a value getting a almost first round talent that late in the draft. what say you?
