I'm deeply concerned about the decisions we've been making at the QB position.

The billionaire ownership of the franchise doesn't seem to consider the quality of the starting QB position as being very important so far.

I mean, that's been made very clear for those paying attention and not hating over the last couple of years.

I think Tepper understands how vital the QB position is. I just think he fully bought into Rhule and has stayed hands off in letting Rhule handle the football operation. I'm unsure of how long he'll stay patient there though. He said soon after buying the Panthers that this is a .500 league and the key elements for being competitive year in and year out are a head coach, a GM, and a QB. Those are the three must-haves. St some point, I think Tepper is going to pressure Rhule and company to stop beating around the bush and go all in on a QB. Stop trying to get lucky and score a steal.

lol, love you bro.

But BILLIONAIRES don't go "hands off", lol.

C'mon man.  ESPECIALLY in an environment all about "rep" like the NFL.

C'MON MAN.

Why the fug do you think they buy in? "Oh, no worries, I'll just let other people run this poo!"

Do you really believe that?  That's why one of Carolinas primary opponents continues to fail (Atlanta, a.k.a. Arthur Blank).  Do you think Carolina's billionaire is any different?

With all due respect, if your answer is yes, then lolllllll.

Tepper reportedly wanted Fields. He let Rhule and Fitts pass.

Darnold is going to have to get back on track and put several good games between himself and today.  I don't think most fans expect him to be perfect, he doesn't even have to win every week, but he can't continue to throw the ball into the waiting arms of defenders and expect to remain the starter beyond this season.

OK so there are 3 options here.

- Tepper is a billionaire owner who doesn't give a poo about his money and lets the people he hires below him to make every decision without his input.

- Tepper is a billionaire owner who values his money and hires people to make decisions that the billionaire owner prefers.

- Tepper is a billionaire owner who controls every aspect of the organization.

I don't know about you, but at least in terms of modern Corporate Tech, I haven't seen much tendency of Corporate Billionaire owners to parse out responsibility for their corporate investments to lower-level flunkies (albeit NFL or otherwise).

Maybe you have that faith in people.  God bless you.

I don't.

You want a strong man to sweep in and save the franchise. I don't think you're going to find many hedge fund managers who are also elite football talent evaluators and football coaches, hence why they employee GMs, coaches, and scouts. If those guys don't deliver, they'll get fired and replaced by guys who hopefully will.

OK, good luck in your lottery then.

I've lived in the Atlanta are since 1999 and have observed first hand how that "billionaire man" lottery turns into results.

Good luck.
