Remember Otah? Brown could be a beast for like 6 games, and then…..,, it’s a process, let it play out…

What's the relevance of referencing Otah here? Otah was a beast in 2008 and 2009 before breaking down and potentially having motivation issues. Besides, the team needs improvement on the interior now. If Brown has shown potential then they need to be making a decision based on current information and not what 'could' happen later. Perhaps that's what's happening here but it's tough to imagine him being any worse than what we saw Sunday and we know that Miller has started multiple games with poor performance.

he might loosely be implying Deonte Brown is lazy like Otah was

There has to be something wrong with the guy in order for him to not be playing. Otherwise this means Rhule is very incompetent

I agree... If he isn't playing next game, it almost has to be an indication there are significant problems with him we don't know about.

It has taken Rhule time to replace some vets before but Miller is getting Darnold destroyed and dragging everything down with him.  He has to see that...

Brown should be at Fb leading the way for our RB in the goal line like how Cowgirls do with McGovern. But, we don’t have any coaches with a creative mind.

FBs still need a hole or maybe they seal off an edge while the hole opens elsewhere.

As it stands Brown would just run into a pile up for an even bigger loss of yards. The interior is so bad right now lol.

The are zero good known reasons to keep him off the field in at least support capacity at this point. Is he having meatal health issues, facing unknown legal issues or possible having a surprise male pregnancy? No? Then how could he be worse and still taking up a roster spot?

I get the late round rookie needs time to adjust and all of that but the bar can't get any lower. Just play the man at least some if he is worth a roster spot.

Significant problems like he's a rookie and a 6th round pick?

You guys see all these problems on the Oline on the tv broadcast / replays. The coaches watch the All-22 and break it down into minute detail. They know there's an issue, but they also see Brown practice every day.

They're not stubbornly sitting him - he'll play when (if) he's ready.

I don't understand how some of these people aren't NFL coaches or GM's.
