I don't think the team is about to fracture, but the fanbase sure looks it.

Won't take much as the fanbase usually fractures right around the annual losing skid. Not to mention the fanbase has been watching the same old song and dance for many, many years now.

"Fate comes a-knockin'
Doors start lockin'
Your old time connection
Change your direction
Ain't gonna change it
Can't rearrange it
Can't stand the pain
When it's all the same to you
My friend"

They felt good about themselves last week, too.

Do stuff that makes you feel good after the game, like win. That's all that matters.

If we lose that will definitely kill the season. Coming in feeling great and feeling like progress only to put a L in the column really is the worse. They need this win or our season is really in jeopardy.

Or... it could mean that they're not hanging their heads about a game they all know they threw away, instead they're upbeat and working to refine their techniques and basics, and they're going to kick ass on Sunday.

Positive attitudes can lead to positive results.

They definitely run the risk of losing any momentum they gained the first part of the season. It won't be good.
