Does anyone have any faith we beat the Giants?

At this point it’s clear the wheels are coming off for this team. The cracks were apparent from early in the season, but they were masked by elite play from CMC on offense, and by playing some bad opponents on defense.

The inexperience of the coaching staff is becoming more obvious every week. Injuries are taking their toll as well.

All that said, the Panthers probably aren’t as bad as we think they are, but the season might be over before we see them prove it.

The Panthers should come out and demolish the lowly and injury decimated Giants next week. It might be enough to get the team back on track and regain some confidence. A loss, and well, I don’t see them winning another game this season.

What a mess this season is shaping up to be. Yet another miserable Panthers season.

I think we’ll win but a part of me wouldn’t be surprised with a loss. If we do lose, it’s going to be a long week at the homestead. If we win, stays of execution. After this week, I don’t see a whole lot of we should win games, especially without CMC.

I didn’t have playoff aspirations this season just wanted to get to around .500 to show improvement and a good future with a very young team. The 3-0 start with the D looking great and Darnold looking solid gave you a bit of hope that 8-10 wins seemed achievable. Now, with the tough part of our schedule ahead, I’m thinking 5-7 wins. If we don’t win at least 2 out of the next 3, the season is shut down.

Even if the game was at BOA it would be like a road game anyway.  I was at the game in 2018 with the Gano 63 yarder and it was 50/50 at best.  They were louder than the home fans and talking poo the entire time too.

This is pretty much the norm except for a few teams. It’s gotten worse since Cam left.

Shocker. Lose the face of your franchise and become a perennial bottom feeder and folks find something better to do with their Sunday afternoons.

It’s gotten worse not because of Cam leaving but because right now we are 17-7 to start the seasons the last four years and 3-27 after those starts. Part of that is not having a healthy Cam but the last four years have been mirage starts followed by awfulness. I mean 3-27? That’s putrid. What fans want to sit through that after 4 out of 5 playoff appearances?

Nope. With the offense regressing as much as it has over the past few weeks I don’t think we’d beat the Jets, Saints, or Texans in a rematch currently.

We are legit playing like one of the worst teams in the league outside of a few flash plays from the defense.
