Darnold will definitely have to be a part of the deal. Rhule wouldn’t take a rookie QB in the draft because he didn’t want to have Darnold be uncomfortable competing for the job. I don’t see how Rhule can bring Watson in and keep Darnold.

Deadline is Tuesday (11/4) at 4pm. ESPN has considerable power and the MNF game on 11/3 is Giants/Chiefs. Last week's performance by both teams not withstanding, that has the potential to be a blowout by halftime. ESPN might prefer to have Shefty break the news in the closing moments of the 1st half on Monday, giving ESPN their MNF to be the first to break down the story and maintain interest in the broadcast.
