LT Brady Christensen...

Rhule needs to stop moving people around and let them have time to learn and develop in one position on the o line . It's extremely possible Christensen  just needs time and reps to develop into a solid LT.

The worst thing he could do is put Daley or Erving back there.

this. this. this.

Christensen should have played LT since day one of rookie camp and nothing else.  All this switching around to different positions for a rookie is detrimental for his development.  Let him learn ONE position first.  Move him next season if necessary.

Rhule's moronic emphasis on versatility on the OL over true skill has been maddening.

He needs to be the starter there. He has consistently shown he's the best option at LT so far. He needs more time there to show he can keep it up over more snaps.

Some serious revisionist history right here. His last start was so bad this place was writing him off as a bust.

As soon as Moton got signed, he should have been groomed to be the backup LT this year let compete for starter next year (or as injuries/performance dictate). RT is in place for the next 4 years. Why he was ear marked for backup RT, no one knows. Letting him learn LT in camp (and LG if needed) and he would have been further ahead.  He will take his lumps now but he could have been taken a bunch of those in camp and pre-season.

I see this brought up a lot.  There's a kernel of truth there.  Rhule definitely pays too much attention to versatility.  That's probably the college coach in him coming out.

On the flip side, having flexibility in your BACKUPS is incredibly valuable at this level.  For example, I'd rather have five specialists as my starting OLine, but at the same time I would want my backups to cover a minimum of two positions each.  I hope Rhule figures that out.

That's the ideal.  Backups SHOULD have versatility since an NFL team can only carry a few of them.

But demanding that flexibility of a rookie is not a very smart idea.  The transition to the pro game is hard enough.  Let the guy play his one college position for his first NFL year.  After that, if you want to try him out at other spots, fine.  But only after he's had a chance to adjust to the speed & power of the pro game & gotten the playbook down.

As gofightwin said - let Christensen be the backup LT all year.  That would have been the smart move on Rhule's part.

Wasn't he rated higher as a guard than a tackle in the draft? So they had to try. Let's hope he improves and solves the LT issue. Again, he just needs to be consistent, not great.

He has been the best at LT for weeks now. Since post-Giants game his play at LT has taken massive steps forward. Rookie was bad first half the season? No poo sherlock.

Also just cause this place calls someone a bust after 7 games and limited snaps just shows how idiotic this place can be. On top of that, I'm convinced 25% of posters here are actually fans of other teams from other fansites that are here simply to troll. It's the only explanation for some of the truly mentally handicapped takes here.

I found this quote to be interesting since BC's athleticism was off the charts.  Not sure who said that (Rhule?) but I question it.

Nope, viewed as a backup/developmental swing tackle and maybe guard in a pinch among most. Rhule was the one who said he graded higher as a guard, a position he never played in college and considering his weakness is the bull rush makes zero sense that he should be going against DT's in the middle. Just say you drafted a backup/developmental LT in the 3rd round and let him work on it at the pro level for a year. He looked fine at RT in the preseason as well but they got cute and tried to put Moton at RT for that one game and he got two false starts. Just develop guys at their positions and have Erving/Scott/Daley/Elf be your emergency swing guys. For as much as Rhule loves very average John Miller they just stuck him at RG and forgot about it

Im not ready to drink Christ for LT, but I will take a gulp if its the LG cup.... He did play better LT....well than any panther has this season for what 30 snaps? Im beyond pissed at Daley, that guy has to be the most injuried player in panther history. Never one to cut a player, especially if the player was picked by me to play LT this year...The guy can not stay on the field, I have no idea why youd give him a jersey at this point.....Just wait 10 snaps and the training staff will be helping him off the field. Now hes going to miss the next 2 games.....come back and same god dam thing will happen.

Right now Im here for 2022

LT-  draft pick 1st round or pray for a decent vet

LG- Christ

C- Elf

RG- 299.9999999 lb Brown or Lumber jack free agent try out magic scout find or ??? or CMC asks the team to bring back GVR

RT- Moton

Top Backups Teck, Erv, Hoton
