At least they’re blocking someone….

I hate to say anything but many of us talked about how bad our OL was especially bringing in Erving and Elflein like it would matter. Our draft was a guy they didn’t know where to play and a guy who didn’t care to get in shape for the pre-draft workouts/Senior Bowl and was an obvious project.

It’s amazing that we are surprised at all that the OL is a mess. It was obvious from the off-season and we did very little to improve.

Watching a Rhule oline is like watching a glitch in Madden. Unbelievably awful

Being a Panthers/Tar Heels fan this season was brutal for OL play. I got to watch one of if not the worst OLs in both the NFL and college week in and week out. 😞

What hurts worse is watching a team like the Chiefs go out and improve their o-line the way they did after they saw they needed help. Completely revamped their line. Meanwhile here we are with guys that couldn’t make the rec league team 💀

That stinks. I couldn't handle watching the Panther's and college years ago, it was too much pain and suffering for me. The Panthers deliver more than enough of that for me.

Rhule has a ready made scapegoat for this stuff, of course. He'll scapegoat Pat Meyer just like he did Joe Brady.

Is Meyer at fault? Probably at least partially, yeah. And maybe a lot.

That shouldn't absolve Rhule though. And it's fair to point out that he's only coaching the players Rhule gave him.

    • Did we hear Corral will get more game time / a game plan?
    • Thanks to Anthony Rizzuti of Panthers Wire 1. QB Baker Mayfield: 80.5 2. OL Cade Mays: 79.1 3. WR Keith Kirkwood: 78.4 4. WR Derek Wright: 77.2 5. TE Giovanni Ricci: 75.5 33. TE Jared Scott: 46.5 34. C Pat Elflein: 45.6 35. QB Matt Corral: 43.3 36. RG Austin Corbett: 31.9 37: TE Nate Becker: 30.3   1. LB Cory Littleton: 92.8 2. CB Duke Dawson: 90.1 3. CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver III: 82.1 4. LB Brandon Smith: 81.5 5. CB Tae Hayes: 77.0 31. LB Julian Stanford: 37.7 32. DT Daviyon Nixon: 37.4 33. LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley: 36.4 34. DT Bravvion Roy: 36.0 35. DT Frank Herron: 30.2 Take from it what you will. I would like to see all the grades, but I will say that it appears that the depth at DT is bad, while the same at CB looks good. Our LB corps may not be great, but its floor is probably average at worst. All in all, these grades are probably a pretty accurate reflection of the team's strengths and weaknesses at certain positions. If you want to read the little no-account words that accompany the grades here it is: https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/lists/panthers-pff-grades-panthers-commanders/
