He's a great teammate. If he doesn't want to retire and would be comfortable with it I'd love to keep him relatively cheap as a backup and goal line guy. He's no longer a starter and shouldn't be in our starting QB plans/discussion, but in a very well defined package role and as backup he has value.

Tampa is out there 1, 2, and 3 WR.  Out their 1 and 2 RB.  Also out key pieces to their D.  

these are the type games Carolina has won all season.   Either the opponent is starting a rookie in their first start…..or the team just got fugged and is missing all their key people.

      No room to take two WR's IMO, with Mingo and ISM locked up for next year. We need the center, LB, CB, or edge more.

      Thielen will be fine if we had two other receivers that drew coverage. He's a 3rd and 4th down chains mover at this point in his career
